Physicians Footcare, the Southeast’s leading provider of podiatric care, is pleased to welcome Dr. Elvis Tako, DPM, to its Savannah location, beginning in early December. With an extensive background in both surgical and clinical podiatry, Dr. Tako brings a high level of expertise to the team.

Dr. Tako received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Mercy Health Lorain in Ohio. Dr. Tako is board-eligible with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and is skilled in treating a range of complex foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, Achilles tendon injuries, and flat foot deformities.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Tako is passionate about helping his patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Originally from Albania, Dr. Tako relocated to the United States and is proud to serve the Savannah community. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities and following his favorite sports teams.
