Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–5:00pm; Friday 7:30am–1:00pm
Position Summary
The Medical Office Assistant is responsible for conducting essential clinical duties for providers and CPeds. These duties help deliver expedited patient care and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain patient flow by monitoring exam room inventory and ensuring examination rooms are clean and adequately stocked.

Escort patients to exam rooms and assist provider with triage.

Chart critical information (medical history, vital signs, current symptoms, health concerns, and required MIP history).

Prepare patients for exam (assist with sock/shoe removal if needed and ensure proper seating in the exam chair).

Dispense Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to patients when applicable.

Update electronic medical records to ensure completeness, maintenance, and organization.

Assist CPeds as needed.
-
Maintain office supply inventory and order medical supplies as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Professional Experience & Skills

Ability to perform the essential functions listed above.

Computer proficiency to input information into the electronic medical record.

Physical Requirements
